Study Abroad - Rome

If you are currently enrolled in a university-level degree program and wish to study the ancient and medieval Roman intellectual tradition in the heart of the Eternal City, please submit your complete application below.

Scholarships and financial aid are available for qualifying students.

A complete application includes:

• This form

• A résumé.

• A personal statement 1-3 pages in length, double-spaced. This statement should discuss:

  • Why are you interested in studying in this program?

  • What is your interest in the ancient and medieval Roman intellectual tradition? What is your interest in the thinking of Catholic philosophy and theology?

  • What previous activities or programs have you participated in that helped form you for this?

• Unofficial academic transcript. We’ll ask for an official transcript later in the application process.

• Two letters of recommendation. These should be sent by the recommenders themselves.
